Blue Lagoon is a fantastic 1 bedroom vacation rental with direct access to the lagoon and an amazing view. A small hallway leads to the open kitchen and living area. From here a large sliding door gives you access to the outside terrace with dining table and chairs. From the terrace you walk onto the first sunbathing deck with lounge chairs. There is an awning for extra sunshade. A few steps further you find the 2nd private deck built over the lagoon with 2 lounge beds just for you. The deck features an outside shower and swim ladder for your convenience and is equipped with deck lights, so you can see the marine live at night as well. Blue Lagoon has a master bedroom with a top quality king size bed (Swiss Sense), bed tables and built in closet. The luxurious bathroom has a walk-in shower and a sink. The washroom is a separate space in the hallway. The living room has a nice lounge area with couch, table and reading light. There is a small desk with chair and reading light as a workspace. Blue Lagoon is a non-smoking property, both indoors and outdoors.
AMENITIES
Blue Lagoon offers free Wi-Fi, air conditioning in the bedroom and livingroom, standing fan in the living area and a flat screen TV with IPTV. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking top, refrigerator, dish washing machine, oven-micro wave combi, Nespresso coffee machine (small regular pods) and toaster. There is a safe, washer and iron with iron board. Cleaning with linen change is included and scheduled halfway your stay when staying 9 nights or longer. Linens are provided including beach towels. The bed is made with a duvet with fresh cover. Curacao Ocean Resort features a large swimming pool and private beach with loungers, beach chairs and palapas (palm leave umbrellas) which you can use free of charge. The lagoon is crystal clear and perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The house reef is in swimming distance from the beach and filled with exotic fishes and corals.
LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS
Blue Lagoon is situated within the gated ***** Curacao Ocean Resort and ideally located within walking distance to Mambo Beach. You find lots of entertainment and night life here, like international restaurants, tropical beach bars, a dive shop, a gym and spa, small shops, a casino and the Mambo Beach Boulevard. The Seaquarium and Dolphin Academy are located opposite of the resort where you often see the dolphins jump. Historic Willemstad is only 10 car minutes away. There is a private parking spot reserved for your rental car.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION PRIOR TO BOOKING
This is a self‑catered, privately owned property. A starter supply of essentials is provided (paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, hand and dish soap, dishwasher tabs, sponge, bed and bath linens, plus beach towels). Guests are responsible for replenishing these items as needed.
Personal toiletries and other comfort items should be brought along or purchased locally. For longer stays, a mid‑term cleaning with fresh bed and bath linens is included. Beds are prepared with a European‑style duvet, and you’ll always have freshly laundered covers at each changeover.
Electricity usage up to 10 kWh per person per night is covered; additional consumption is charged at USD 0.50 per kWh. Meter readings are taken at check‑in and check‑out.
The property is equipped with both US 110V and EU 220V electrical outlets.
In the event of a cancellation an administration fee applies of USD 150.00.

Heavenly!
This location was absolutely incredible. Direct access to the most beautiful lagoon where swimming and snorkeling was spectacular. The unit had snorkeling equipment to use. Breakfast out on the deck in the morning was heavenly.
Amazing hosts!
Jo & Heike were amazing hosts! Absolutely lovely. Our place was sooo nice and comfortable. The best thing about our stay - you can jump right into the ocean from your porch & experience some of the best snorkeling on the whole island with so many beautiful fishies. Plus, a private beach for you and other guests in the complex, a quick walk or even quicker swim from your place. We were located right next to the Seaquarium and could see the dolphins do their show from the porch or even better sometimes on the other side of netting during their private swims. You should 100% stay here if you are coming to Curaçao. Easy walk to Mambo beach and all the restaurants and activities there. Rent a car and explore the whole island easily. Bed was comfortable and had everything we needed. Quick drive to Punda & Wilimstead. 5 stars!!
WOW!!!
Wow, there's so much to say about this beautiful peace of paradise!! We booked to come back before we left it! The dock out back with your own personal aquarium was amazing. The snorkeling in the lagoon was one of the best in our opinions, the amount of different species of fish is amazing and we even saw a blue octopus the last night!!! The dolphins show we could watch from our patio with breakfast was insane. The walkable distance to Mambo beach for many food options was extremely convenient. The open air condo was such a breath of fresh air, it was definitely the icing on the cake for the full experience. This place is exactly how it looks and WAY more. Don't book anywhere else!!!
Great time!
We had a great stay here. Jo was very welcoming on arrival. The unit was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed, and the AC worked great. The highlight was the outside deck… being able to jump right into the water and snorkel was amazing. The private beach was relaxing and convenient, and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance, making it a great location overall. We would definitely return!

Jo is the owner and host of the apartment. Awesome communication throughout the process: before, during and after our stay.Besides the beautiful view, the apartment is nicely appointed in the kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, glasses, spices) and the bathroom was updated recently.Every afternoon, we would sit under the palapa umbrellas at the private beach within the compound. Water is crystal clear.Every evening, we would sit on the chaise lounges and watch the fish who were attracted to the LED lights off the deck.The location is perfectly situated to walk Mambo Beach. I highly recommend The Greenhouse Lounge (offers outdoor and indoor AC seating) for tuna tataki, sweet potato fries, burgers, and steak quesadillas.We enjoyed the apartment so much that we booked for 15 days next January!Go ahead and make the reservation for a relaxing time at the beach.

AMAZING!
We stayed at the Blue Lagoon Curacao Ocean Resort and it was amazing. The unit is beautiful and you can't beat the views. We loved sitting out at night and just enjoying hearing the dolphins splash and make noise. I wasn't planning on cooking on vacation, but we enjoyed the deck so much we did pick up some food and had a few dinners on the deck. We also loved being able to go into the water right off the deck. There were all kinds of fish to see snorkeling. Jo was very responsive and helpful during the rental process and our time in the rental. The location of the rental is great as well. It was easy to travel to all the different sites. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone going to Curacao.
Perfect location for holiday, 2nd stay!
The Blue Lagoon apartment at Curaçao Ocean Resort is the perfect location for a holiday. Mambo Beach is just a short walk away to enjoy restaurants, shopping and beach bars. The dock at the apartment is an amazing spot to relax or go swimming and snorkelling. The house reef has excellent coral gardens and a variety of fish. The outside of the Mambo Beach breakwater is also a great snorkel site. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with when we had questions. This was our second time renting this unit and we can’t wait until we can come back again.
2nd time as food as 1st time
2nd time staying here and could go back again. The water right at your door, great pool in the complex, the beach and all the restaurants within a short walk. 2nd trip was just as good as the 1st.
Blue Lagoon: Fabulous!
The Blue Lagoon at Curacao Ocean Resort was fabulous. The outdoor space was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or take a dip and snorkel in the lagoon. Our host Jo was very responsive and provided everything we needed in the unit (paper towels, trash bags, dish detergent, laundry pods, coffee, etc.). Also, the location was fantastic! Literally a 2 minute walk to shops, bars, and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here. We had an incredible time.
